Heya!

I'm yet another user indie game developer with little talent and big aspirations. I'm currently trying to finish a demo for a project named Chronicles of Forgotten Islands, which is a text-based 2D adventure RPG in a fantasy setting with a focus on dialogues and exploration, although it also features other mechanics, such as a turn-based combat system reminiscent of jRPGs and mechanically similar projects.

I am planning to share the development progress here on itch. After the demo is completed and sufficiently polished, I'll see if further development makes sense. Basically, if people notice the project and express interest in it, I'll consider moving past just the demo stage. If not, well, at least I'll have the development experience under my belt and a semi-serious project in my hypothetical portfolio. Happy days!
